Clean Energy Procurement

Industrial energy users are under pressure to decarbonise their operations. This means sourcing carbon free energy, changing their processes to use less energy and eliminating CO2 emission from their processes.

To procure for clean energy requirements, energy users can establish partnerships with generators to ensure secure supply creating a platform for collaboration and participation in the build of new clean energy infrastructure.

At Purus Energy we partner with industrial energy users to research and understand their future energy needs. We conduct sourcing activities, facilitate introduction to clean energy generators and help frame agreements that will provide energy users with the decarbonised platforms they need, long into the future.

The needs of the clean energy market are becoming evident and Purus Energy has been started to provide solutions to specific issues. Our CEO, Derek Thomson has an extensive network of energy professionals that will be drawn upon as engagements require. As the business expands we will bring on new resources and update our resource profile accordingly.

Derek Thomson is a CEO & Director with a broad skill base gained from roles in Financial Management to CFO level, Business Development, Product Development and Marketing. He has hands-on experience in leading, managing, and growing companies by developing and executing strategy to achieve company vision. As a Non-Executive Director he provides board leadership, governance, commercial guidance and executive support to organisations executing growth strategies.

Derek’s executive career spans the Energy, Mining, Oil & Gas Telecommunications, Media, Life Sciences and Transport industries.
